The Michael Long Foundation creates opportunities for First Nations young people through education, culture, sport, leadership and community connection.
Building on Michael Long’s legacy, the Foundation supports programs and initiatives that help young people strengthen their connection to culture, build confidence, develop leadership skills and access pathways to education, employment, wellbeing and opportunity.
Through partnerships and initiatives including the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre, we work to create environments where First Nations young people can thrive, reach their full potential and shape their own futures.
The Michael Long Foundation acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge the Larrakia people, the Traditional Owners of Darwin, where the heart of the Foundation was established through the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre.
